So after updating to 8.1 I've had Safari lock up on my multiple time when typing. It didn't take long to figure out what was going on. There are a few words that I commonly mistype on my iPhone. I hit "i" and not "o" often and after typing "yiu" or "yiur" multiple times a day I added those words (back in iOS6?) to the shortcut list so when I type "yiu" it comes out "you" but after upgrade to 8.1 Safari (only Safari) just freezes. If I don't do a thing it acts like I'm still pressing "u" on the keyboard and nothing will happen for minutes and not until I hit the home button.

Once I figured out that I was typing words that appear in my shortcut list my guess was that the phone was trying to automatically correct them at the same time and that contributed to Safari locking up. I removed those words from the shortcut list and haven't had an issue since.

It's weird that this just manifested itself with 8.1 and was never a problem before. Is anyone else seeing something similar?
