I managed to get 8.1 on my mid 2011 iMac, but for some reason my wifi keeps dropping and that i have no sound. Is this fixable?

I managed to get 8.1 on my mid 2011 iMac, but for some reason my wifi keeps dropping and that i have no sound. Is this fixable?

Was it through bootcamp? 8.1 broke compatibility with bootcamp drivers. Apple may issue an update, or you may find a solution online.

If it is through VMware or Parallels then just reinstall VMtools or Parallel tools should fix it.
