8.1, Third Party Keyboard! Have those been fixed?

Hi, for early upgraders, have the the third party keyboard issues fixed ?
Swiftkey users any?
Or now we need to wait for the developer to fix it ..

Yep. The keyboard covering up the bottom couple rows of text has been fixed. For me anyway. Using SwiftKey and have tested multiple times with Messages and Hangouts apps.

Haven't tested yet in 8.1 final, but in Beta 2 the text messages were not properly scrolling up using swiftkey.

Everything works when in apps but is the lock screen issue fixed for anyone?

Seems ok so far but for me it was hit and miss .... so i'll reserve judgement ... but at least the repositioning of the iMessage queue to display properly is fixed

But for me writing an app review in the AppStore with a 3rd party keyboard is still broken (blank screen when you hit a field) so not perfect

I agree, tried 9-10 times, lot better than before, could be better. Think now it's developer time to update their apps to remove few bugs that might be left over.

I'm gonna disable the stock keyboard and hope I'm able to send messages and not frustrations..

Using 3rd party keyboards on the lock screen does not work.

iOS 8.1 does not fix the landscape issue in SwiftKey. When switching to landscape, the keyboard still appears in the middle of the screen instead of the bottom of the screen.

iOS 8.1 might fix some of the problems, but if you don't want to be disappointed again, you should wait for the keyboard apps to update for 8.1

Followup since update, couple days on...

Its definitely better... at least the keyboard is consistently appearing now... but the Switfykey not scrolling to bottom of iMessage list is back for me and also sometimes i can't even scroll to last message (obscured) ... seems to be more consistently happening if i happen to have a photo in the message stream

Guessing still 70/30 iOS vs Swiftkey issues
