I'm seeing this on Chevy MyLink in a 2014 car so it may be just me but I really hope not. As of iOS 8 and persisting in the betas I am unable to play back an album in proper song order. Instead at the end of a song I witness my music app jump out of the Now Playing screen and back to the artist/playlist view. Then the now playing button up at the top right flickers rapidly on and off before finally continuing to play a song in the album. However the song it plays is several, and seemingly random number of, tracks later. This makes it impossible to do anything but listen to my music shuffled. I've tried Bluetooth audio but while my BT now connects to my car, the phone still fails to reliably provide Siri audio through it. Plus several times music plays then immediately pauses. I cant unpause it from the car touch screen. I need to reach back into the center console and hit play on my phone which is very counter to the whole hands free use of the phone I was perfectly able to do just fine on iOS 7. I;d love to rollback but a combination of Apple not validating iOS 7 and the fact I have an iPhone 6 now makes that impossible. Has anyone else seen this and maybe come up with a work around? Nothing surrounding music and Bluetooth seems to have outwardly changed between versions but yet Apple managed to clearly break something under the hood. A MyLink update is unlikely since iOS 8 is still new and cars are rarely updated anyways. The fact I did fine on iOS 7 and the behavior of the music app would definitely point any car manufacturer to it being Apples fault.
