Hey guys,

I just updated my comp to Windows 10 (didn't back up via iTunes or iCloud). Just needed to reset my iPhone 5s settings. The phone rebooted, it's on the Apple logo screen frozen. It gets about 1/20th of the way on the progress bar and just stuck there.

I put it into DFU mode and updated via iTunes but when it begins to boot up after restore, it goes back to the Apple logo and progress bar stuck. I got a ton of stuff on my phone from the past year or 2 that's really important. Can anyone help?

I realise restoring it will most likely get it back to normal but I'd lose all my files. Is there anyway to stop the phone to boot up while keeping my files?. I've never been jailbroken or anything.

I'm confused...did you restore or update?
