I had ordered the Daswise edge to edge screen protector & Spigen Liquid Crystal case in anticipation of the arrival of my iPhone 8+. I had used the 6S+ version of the Daswise screen protector & it worked great with every case I used so I assumed the 8+ version would be the same. Nope.
The new version of the Daswise protector has thicker edges that extend to the VERY edge of the screen which is great except that Spigen Liquid Crystal lip comes up just to the exact spot to push the edges of the screen protector up & break the seal on the screen.
Now I’m concerned that this will happen with every case that has a raised lip on it (and the lip on the Liquid Crystal only *just barely* comes up above the screen, the various styles of Speck cases I used on the 6S+ had a much more raised lip).
Does anyone have a recommendation for an edge to edge protector that will be compatible with most raised lip cases or a case that works with the Daswise? I’m returning the Liquid Crystal case regardless as it’s a little flimsier than I expected. I had a Speck Candyshell clear glitter case on the 6S+ that was a much thicker TPU but it doesn’t look like they make that for the 8+ & I’m not sure how the Presidio version compares.
(Actually I just looked at their website & all of the previous “Candyshell” versions of cases have been renamed Presidio. Are they the same product with a new name or have they been “reformulated”?)
