8 hours to transfer 26GB

That's how long it was going to take to transfer video files from my USB2 external HD to my pro through one of the ports on the back. I swapped to another port and using the same files it showed 11 minutes. What's happening? Is the one port faulty or maybe USB1?

I ran a test on all other ports and they showed 11 minutes as well.

The port probably initialized in USB1 mode. I had a similar issue and just switched around the things I had plugged into those ports. All three are now in USB2 mode. You can see the info on the USB port using the system profiler.
