Hi guys, I know absolutely nothing about battery life but did a coconut battery life check and want to share the results with you guys so you can tell me how my 09 MBP is going.

Anyway, my results are 6153/6500 mAh, 94%.
Battery Load-cycles: 109.

How is my battery?

OMG THAT IS SHOCKING IT'LL BE DEAD BEFORE THE END OF THE SUMMER

Seriously tho...after 8 months you've lost 6% of the capacity of the battery, and you've done 100ish power cycles.

It's fine! If you've got a unibody mac with the battery built right in, theres sod all you can do or would want to do about it before it dies completely.

I remember the bad old days when you were lucky if your powerbook stayed on for more than 10 minutes after 200 odd cycles of the battery.

Okay, I just wanted to make sure that my battery was fine. I know bugger-all about them but I have heard of issues and I wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Damn it seems many of you all worry over nothing. Mine is 16 cycles and 92%, and I have yet to post a thread. But I am sure Apple will be replacing mine in the not too distance future.

Does every battery react differently? Well obviously because I see some people like above me with 16 cycles and are already on 94%?
I have over 100 charged on mine. Well over 100, my health on my battery is still 100%.
I also discharge it fully every now and then and whenever my charging cable gets unplugged and goes to 99% I'll let it run to 60-50% before plugging it in to charge back up to 100%.
