The post title says it all. I have an old green iPod Mini but I kind of want a new iPod with video to watch shows on. And I don't think I'll be getting an iPhone this season. Any thoughts for it and against it? Thanks.

Same question I'm asking myself.
For: Latest n' greatest and available as a refurb.
Against: Screen's too small, particularly for 'widescreen' viewing... that bloody iPhone is just aching to come out as an iPod variant. Waiting to see what the price of that will be - hopefully in time for summer.

The ipod video really isn't a video player. The screen and the battery are too small and weak. If you have 80gigs of music and ocasionally want to watch video i say go for it. But if you want a *true* portable video player. I say wait. I'm sure something will be out well before the end of the year.
