Hello.

I'm wondering if there is an app, or a way, or using something similar to Aero Snap in Windows 7 on Snow Leopard? It's a feature of 7 I really like, I use it constantly. Other than writing some Applescript, can anyone think of something that lets me do it?

SizeUp is your solution or if you don't want to pay TwoUp
I can’t recommend SizeUp enough, if you are a student it is invaluable when you have multiple pages documents, pdf's and safari windows being able to organise them quickly saves so much time and effort

TwoUp is exactly what I was after, many thanks for the pointer :)

+1 for BTT. Been using it since it came out and have never been disappointed. New features are always added and it is a great little program. And it's free :p

Make that +2. BTT is a fantastic application, and it really unlocks some of the wonderful powers of the trackpad (if you have a MacBook).

BTT Works with mouse + dragging to edges

BTT aero snap feature only works when using the trackpad. just fyi

I also use Cinch

This is false, I use this with my mouse and drag windows to the edges and it works just like Windows 7 Aero.

Hello, reviving this thread, any Cinch user is experiencing the following error: when looking into a Folder in the finder with Lion OS X, does it look empty when in reality it is not empty?
I am seeing this randomly after using Cinch.
I do appreciate your feedback, thanks!

After recently asking about this myself here, I ended up with BetterTouchTool, and it seems to be the best option by far. It is really easy to use and you can configure limitless custom gestures to do a variety of things. Best of all, it's free.
