Happy Sun,

I upgraded the wireless at work to 802.11n, so I decided to upgrade the airport card in my macbook pro via the $1.99 enabler. It works awesome. At home I have a linksys wireless router that runs 802.11g. It works fine.

However,
I have another friend who has an old airport base station (with the latest firmware). When I go to his house. My connection is slow My download rate is about 3Mb's but my upload is like 7Kb. I haven't messed with my MTu's or any IP settings for that matter.

Anyone have any remedies?

BTW,
I am also seeing lots of dropped packets. Any ideas?

First Gen 802.11g Extreme. With latest firmware. My buddy just got a macbookpro and it had the airport card with 802.11n already enabled. and he works just fine.
