Yeah, I've read on here and on other forums that the iPod touch doesn't like the 802.11x networks? I live in the United Kingdom and have an ADSL router.

Is there any truth in that and if there is, will it have something to do with why the message "Safari can't open the page because it can't find the server" ?

All help will be appreciated! :)

I think you might be confusing IEEE 802.1x, which is a network authentication protocol, with 802.11a, b or g wifi standards. The iPod touch supports the latter but not currently the former, much to many peoples' annoyance.

So this shouldn't be an issue with your home broadband router at all. It's more likely to be a DNS problem you're experiencing with Safari.
