Worth waiting for iPhone 4G? (4G Network, not 4th Gen)

Hi all,

I'm going to be starting a new job soon and I am prepared to buy an iPhone with a 4G connection in a heartbeat as soon as I have the money.

My question... when do you think a 4G connection will be available on the iPhone? Is it worth waiting for? I live in Australia by the way.

Well there won't be a new iPhone until next summer. We are looking at July again would be my educated guess. Will it be 4g ready? no one really knows. I would guess maybe, but we won't know more until well into next year.

Even if you only save $1 a day and plan on buying the phone unsubsidized.
