I'm sure like many people, I am disappointed in the lack of gigabit ethernet on the new airport extreme base station.

I will be running a NAS off my router, can anyone suggest a wireless router that has n and is a gigabit ethernet router, which is compatible with the preN card in my c2d macbook pro.

Thanks.

Out of the N-routers on the market, the only one I've seen with gigabit is the soon-to-be-released Linksys.

I don't know if anybody has a clue how it's going to work with your MBP. AFAIK, nobody can try 802.11n on the C2D Macs until Apple ships its 802.11n router, which contains the driver disk to enable 802.11n. :confused

I guess I'm lucky in that the only wired devices in my house are DirecTiVos and a Vonage box. That, and I can plug my external drives into the new Airport Extreme to share them.
