Hey guys

Found a Mac mini G4 1.25ghz with wifi and Bluetooth. Decided to upgrade the ram to 1 gb and change the 40gb hdd to an extra 80gb I had lying around. Problem is the mac shows its a 40gb hdd. I know it's not that small as it's even clearly printed on the drive. Is there anything I can do to reclaim all the space?

Thanks!

That Fujitsu description MHT2040AH - does that match the label on the disk because the last two figures give the capacity?

Perhaps you misread the label. The drive is 40 GB with 8 MB of cache. If I recall correctly, the cache and storage info is right next to each other and is easily misread (I speak from experience).
