Hello,

I have made a post about this before, without any response, but the the topic looked like yet another failing GPU, but I don't think it is the case here as the external display (connect thru the DP port) works just fine.

Her is my old post:
I have a strange problem with a Macbook 15" 820-2915-B
On the LCD I have strange vertical lines, as, 1 line is ok, 1 is black, 1 ok, 1 black, like an old TV

I expect the GMUX, but I want to be sure.

When I attach a external screen, the image is ok.

I tried the LCD screen on another logicboard and the picture was just fine, I also tried this board on another screen and I got the same result.

I installed gfxStatus, when I switch GPU's nothing happens, the program reports the AMD is in use, but I do not see any flickering or change in the screen as is there is nothing happening.

Did anyone had this problem before?

thanks in advance
