I have a 820-3208 MBA A1465 which turns on chimes/boots but without the battery connected the magsafe shows an orange light!!!
I haven't tried to check if it's actually charging the battery yet and I've replaced the ISL6259.
This is what I checked so far:
R5280 = 2k
R5281 = 2K
CHGR_ACIN = 3.92v
CHRG_ACOK = 3.3v
R7201 = 10 ohms
R7022 = 10 ohms
R7051 = 2.2 ohms
R7052 = 0 ohms
I've also tried to do an SMC bypass, just in case, and it still shows orange.
On first connection of the magsafe it turns green, fan starts spinning and the it turns orange.
Funny thing is I've got a 820-3209 with exactly the same problem but I've not looked at that yet.
Any idea/clue of where to look now

UPDATE
This is a water damage MBA with a small amount of water near the lvds, which I'm in the process of changing.
Everything seems to work ok, it even works on the battery. but with just the magsafe on it's own. it will first go green then I get a chime and then it goes red/orange.. I've still not checked to see it the actually battery (if connected) is charging ok as I'm waiting for a lvds to arrive from HK.
Any help would be appreciated
