Remove mobile me sync icon from upper menu bar

i had used the 60 day trial of mobile me to try it out, but decided i would not use it enough for it to be worth the price. However, i have noticed the little sync icon in the upper bar is still there, and i can not figure out how to remove it. Any ideas?

I didn't use the trial, and I still can't get the icon to go away.

Hold Command then click and drag it away. *poof*
