I Have A Really Stupid Question !!! (matte desktop monitor on glossy MBP)

If I buy A Glossy MBP can I then use a matte desktop monitor ?? I think I would have to change some settings for color but not too sure. I would use a color management system. Some thoughts on that would be great. 🙂

Yes, you would probably want to calibrate each a little differently, but people do it frequently.

Of course you can. The glossy is just a glass in front of the real screen

I am so sick of the glossy vs matte discussion and most of my photo editing would be done at a desk. I figure I can have the best of both worlds. Thanks for your input !!!! 🙂

Mac OS X allows each screen to have it's own color profile. So you'd not change anything but add a new profile.
