New MBP.s in january quad Intels?

If they do come out with I5 and I7 Intels I wonder how close they will run to the Imacs?

This would certainly make go for a new MBP and use it as a desktop with a monitor than the Imac. I need both, so the MBP does the job of both.

A slight update could happen but I doubt they'll give us that in January.

Even if they did do this, it wouldn't be on the low end models. Most likely would cost near $2000 minimum. (Just like the iMacs)

its unlikely there will be i5 and i7s in the new mbps i'd say

It's unlikely the lower-end would see the introduction of the quad-cores.
