Tim Cook a top Candidate for GM's new CEO?

This is interesting. The firm hired by General Motor's to look for a new CEO has Apple's COO Tim Cook listed as their number one choice as GM's new CEO. This happening would be a double edged sword for me as an Apple fan and GM fan. It will be great for GM to gain someone like Cook who has worked in a company that is very successful and hopefully bring in Job's vision for innovation. Bad for Apple due to Cook being a top rumored candidate to eventually replace Jobs when he retires.

If I were Tim Cook, I wouldn't work for GM until they paid back their bailout money so the gov't couldn't impose salary limits. Whoever turns that quagmire around deserves top dollar, IMO.
