While searching the internet both firefox and chrome will start opening 20 to 30 tabs of the same page. It also opens a tab of any link you scroll your mouse over. Has anyone else came across this problem? Please help. Thanks in advance.

I'm using the mac mouse with the scroll dot button. The computer is an iMac using MacOSX.
