85W vs Stock 65W - Anker Power Dock

Hey guys,


I bought this little baby here:

It provides 85W for charging my MBP. I'm always a little skeptical and normally use always stock charger, I also e.g. dont need fast charging for my phone and stuff. AS far as I understood the energy world, charging normally slow doesn't kill the battery as fast as charging quickly.

But can I use this Charging Dock without any concerns as it hast 85W instead of the Stock charger with 65W?

It's up to 85W. You have no issues because it's a higher wattage.

The dock will supply the amount of power the Macbook "asks" for, so you're perfectly fine to use it.
