8600m gt was evil but 9600m gt? or the very only reason to switch to the new mbp

Anyone knowns or have a experience with the "new" 9600m gt gpu?.

The 9600m is still a faulty chip?. And this gpu generate more heat or not? If not then i think the best reason to "upgrade" your current mbp is to get rid of the 8600m gt.
