Ok, I asked this in another thread but it went completely overlooked. I take it there aren't many serious PC gamers that use macs.
Anyway, I'm gonna ask again.
Does the 8800 GT shipped with the new mac pros have an SLI connector? If so, will SLI be a possibility on older mac pros by setting up the two needed PCI slots to x8 lanes? Would hacked drivers be necessary just as with the 7300 GT?
If the 8800 GT *doesnt* have an SLI connector on the card itself, would software based SLI be possible without using a bridge, like on the 7300 GT (although, that kind of sucks because it takes about a 30% performance hit).
Thanks
