Not quite sure how to explain this but I must be doing something wrong when installing some apps because the icon for the application will have the broken symbol over it.

This has happened to be on several apps (most are deleted now) but last night I loaded TimeMachineScheduler and it's app icon in the application folder has the "ban" symbol over it. What am I doing wrong?
