Snow Leopards are my favorite animals ever! I have a domesticated (1/4 snow leopard bengal) Snow Leopard, bit it is getting really old too, nearly as old as that one snow leopard. They are truly beautiful animals, and I hope their population can grow.

30 hours later, and everyone is just fine with the fact this guy has a pet snow leopard?

I demand pictures.

Seriously though, a pet snow leopard, assuming it didn't kill or maim me or anyone else, would be awesome. Stunning animals.

He doesn't have a pet snow leopard. He has a feline that is 1/4 snow leopard. One of his cat's grandparents was probably a snow leopard and it mated with a domesticated cat. That feline then mated with another domesticated cat, producing his cat. I didn't know they did this with snow leopards, but I read that it's somewhat common with the smaller wild cats of Africa.

Yep you got it! Guy above if you still want pictures, I can get them for you soon, it's pretty old (17). Let me know.

As I said, he's really old now, so I am uploading some pictures from his prime. These come from my baby scrapbook. He started out pure white, and then grew the patterns in his fur (I also have photos of him being white, but I don't know where they are for now). Here you go!
edit, they're too big, I'll find a site to host them within minutes.

Oldest captive snow leopard dies

There are 3500-7000 snow leopards remaining on the wild. There is a not-for-profit that is trying to save them from extinction: The Snow Leopard Trust (www.snowleopard.org). From their 2008 annual report they operate with an annual budget of only ~ $1.2 million.

Interestingly, their corporate sponsors include
1) Adobe Systems Incorporated
2) Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
3) IBM Matching Grants Program
4) The Microsoft Matching Gifts Program
5) RealNetworks Foundation

but not Apple.

Most likely because Gore is pushing more on the 'climate change' crap. Seriously, that guy needs to get kicked off soon.
