8GB: 1333 or 1066?

Is 1333 RAM compatible with the new MBPs? Does 1333 vs. 1066 have any negative effect? (e.g. shorter battery life)

(looking at getting 8GB 1333 RAM to possibly reuse it in the future versions of MBP with faster bus speed)

If it works, it will be downclocked to 1066MHz anyway.

Has MRoogle brought up nothing in that regard?

It will clock back down to 1066MHz, so it's pointless to pay for faster RAM.
