iPod touch 8GB 2G or 16GB 1G?

as the title says, should i get a 8gb 2g or 16gb 1g?

It depends on how much you are going to put on the touch.

2G have a faster processor, volume buttons on the side, microphone, speaker, OS2.0 pre-installed (£5.99/$10 extra to pay on 1g).

If you think that the extra capacity will be more benefit, get the 1G. If you can't live without the extra 2G features then get the 2G. In the end, only you can make that decision.

I would get the second gen, I wouldn't need to jailbreak it though.
It has a speaker, physical volume buttons, better battery life, sexier profile.

for me? the 2nd gen.

8 gig is ample space for me personally, i'd prefer the faster processor, the built in speak sounds cool too. besides, it's a newer model.

i dont like jailbreaking these days, so that doesn't bother me.
