iPod touch 8gb ipod touch problem

What's up,,

This is my first time in macrumors BTW. Anyways im having a problem with my ipod. A couple of days ago, i downloaded infinity blade 1.i started playing it,, and upon entering the castle i found a giant. When i touched the giant,my ipod crashed and its goes to the springboard.and since then it keeps happening everytime i battle a monster on infinty blade..
This also happens on high end games sometimes.
Is it because of the 8gb size?? Or because of something else??

The reason it does this is because it is running out of RAM -- which your iPod has precious little of.

I would make sure that you clear out the multitasking tray, by double tapping the home button, pressing and holding on an icon until it jiggles, and then tap the red minus button on each app until your tray is empty. This will take all the apps out of memory, freeing up more for your games. This should help.

Rebooting your iPod will do the same trick as well.
