Ok. So i want to upgrade my RAM (yes 2GB sucks a lot).

I noticed that mine (MB 5,1 boot rom:MB51.007D.B03) earlier bfore this, it can only address 6GB RAM stably, but the last 2 GB tried to be adressed the machine goes haywire.

yes, i have read that the superdrive update is meant for the machine to stably address all 8GB at once.

my question: will it LAG? because i go over capacity? or will it run better? or should i just buy 4GB upgrade?

the guy at the computer (non-apple) store told me that if i go over the capacity (official) i will LAG. that's not what i want.

and no i won't sell my MB and get MBP that accepts 8GB. i poor
