8GB Memory for MBP 2011

Hi guys,
I found a 8GB Apple ready memory at Amazon

I was wondering if this really works with 2011 MBP 17in?
Ive only seen people with 2010s...
and since I got Apple Care, I don't want to kill the warranty by opening it by myself so best choice is buy the memory and take it to Apple to install it for me?

Really? hmm but if I open it it will kill my warranty.
Is it worth paying $400 on a 8GB or worth killing my warranty I got for $350?

just install the ram and don't worry about it. If you have to have your laptop repaired just return the factory ram and you'll be fine. Apple doesn't cause problems for people who have installed their own stuff unless they really damage things in the process. If you know what you are doing you'll be fine. heck, if you can follow the youtube videos you'll be fine. Its a 5 minute process and quite simple.

My Understanding is installing RAM does not void your apple care, but installing a HD does void your HD warranty even if you put the stock back in.
