Some time ago someone posted a link to a set of ram that I can use on a MBP 15" for right around 400 bucks.

Does anyone still have that link?

No. That one did not have a link on it. I was asking for advice on what I should do.

I figure if I order that ram he was talking about and sell the one it comes with it would be a better deal. I already have a buyer.

Thanks for adding that link on how to find my own posts. I'm not sure you understand what I am asking about though.

Nice. Great price, but is the speed/quality good? Better than what is offered by Apple?

Thanks for your help so far and excuse me noobism.

Nice, now I just need to figure out how much I'm gonna sell the ram it comes with. My cousin wants to get it from me...

The one from Newegg seems reliable based on reviews of the product... that and I'm hoping they are since I ordered that exact one. (Lifetime warranty helps too)

Newegg had a promotion on them yesterday, extra $30 off with promo code. So it came out to $299 not including tax but free shipping.

What promo code? PM me please.

promo is over.

4GB stick prices are dropping like a rock. Shame that 2GB sticks seem to be rising.
