OK, so I am getting an iPhone this weekend. I am kind of hurting this month financially. But I feel its "ok" to hit the credit card to buy the iPhone. (gives me a couple of months to pay for it)

My question is, and maybe more people have this question; Will the 8Gig. Be enough for app downloads? I really wont be storing music since i have my ipod and only use it in my car. I would be using my phone mainly for the internet and email capabilities.

Basically i dont think I need the extra space and I am sure I need the extra $100 bucks.

ANY INFO ON THIS? Will i be able to get enough apps on a 8gig. I currently have the 8Gig iPhone. I think i have only one music album on it. And no pictures at all.

I think you'll be fine with 8GB! Eg. iWork - a full set of desktop applications is only 441MB!

I'm not sure how big these iPhone apps will be but I can't imagine them being too large.

8GB should be fine if you're not storing music & video librarys!

im guessing the 16GB is for those who

1) want to carry around a bulk fo their music with them.
2) combine both a phone and an iPod together
3) love watching -alot- of movies

me, im getting an 8GB..
if that helps you make your choice.

i suppose.
but i wouldnt spend an extra $100 or so dollars getting a phone just for its white back.

personally :p
