8k 55" Samsung screen | max refresh rate?

Getting the qe55qn700c as computer monitor for M4 Max.
It has (as per Samsung specs) 120hz VRR.

Question: Can the M4-Max drive 8k@120hz? Or can it only drive 8k@60hz?
 
I think you misunderstood the specs of that TV. The TV itself can't do 8K@120Hz (or even 8K@60Hz). It can only do 8K@55Hz. At 4K, it can then do 120Hz.
