I bought the 9.7" iPad Pro with the Apple Smart Keyboard. The keyboard is good and is nice to the touch, but it does not stand flat on any surface. This makes it difficult to use the keyboard. Are you having the same problem? Is there a workaround?

i have been using mine fine and i can touch type at 90 words per mins with no problems to me it like using a normal computer but with a smaller screen in front of me

i think personally the smart keyboard is a great extra to the ipad pro if you do a lot of typing like me it a must

The keyboard is fine. I have a friend who has one and it works perfectly. Mine however cannot sit flat at the table. I've read that other users are having the same issue. Is there something to be done?

Mine is perfectly flat on a flat surface. Maybe you should exchange yours?

Yeah sounds like yours may be defective. Time to take a trip to the Apple Store.

I had this problem with my first purchase.
I made a replacement and the second one is perfect.

I have the ASK for the 12.9' Pro and it sits completely flat. Like others said, something may have gone wrong during the manufacturing process and it's defective.
