9 dollar refund?

My credit card was charged for the total price of $648.42 and then apple refunded the money and then charged 9 dollars less, $639.44, I'm not complaining , just wondering why, first time apple store customer.

My guess is you entered a zip code when ordering, and once they verified the zip via postal service the tax rate may have changed a bit. Again just a guess.

I checked my local tax rate and what apple originally gave at a price was correct.

They probably refunded the shipping cost.
