9 to 5 mac speculates on logic pro 8 at media event on 5th

Other than this source has anyone else heard anything about this happening. I'm not taking it as the gospel or anything, but logic hasn't been updated in ages.

There's a lot more rumors floating around about the impending release of Logic now than there was in the past 6 months. If they're true, logic will be out within the next 3 months.

I'd be doubtful it'll be at this event. It's possible, but I'd bet it's iPods and little else.

However, I've seen a couple of people claiming September is the month (but no one claiming it to be at this event). No reliable sources per-say, but a few random people on audio forums claiming to be or to know beta testers. It does seem clear that logic has been being beta tested for at least a couple of months.
