This is a free sound/music toy so it's not as much about the visuals as about what it can make things sound like. Check out this 90 sec demonstration video here:

It's free and worth every penny heh. Download it, we're really curious to see what people can create with this. It has a ton of ways to integrate and share your music creations with other DJ and sound apps too so you could use it to create the background for the next club anthem. Or whatever you're into.

Download SOUND EPIC for free here.

Cool! I've seen this type of time stretching done on the desktop, but it's awesome to have it running on an iPhone.

Seems to work really well too, although results depend a lot on what song you select - it's not a problem with the app at all, just some songs sound 'epic', others just sound a bit boring. Experiment with it a bit. Just now I have a track that starts off quite dark and ambient, and it's pretty amazing!

Thanks! Yeah we figured it would be cool to have something like this connected to your iPod library. There's billions of songs and thus billions of possibilities for what you can do with it. We are wondering what it's going to do when someone integrates a hardcore beat with a slowed down epic heh.

Would love to hear what songs people try with it. You can share em on SoundCloud in the app if anyone wants to link their creation...

Does it run on iPad? And can it export to the music library, or support cut + paste? Just thinking here... create an 'epic' track with this, import into garage band. That could be great on a long trip! :)

It does run on iPad and it does support Audio Copy & Paste (small bug being updated in those). You can also upload to SoundCloud and export & import through iTunes as well. Super modular and totally designed to play with other fun audio apps.
