Adobe After Effects CS4 Trial!!!

Hello. So I really want to get a hold of the Adobe After Effects CS4 trial because I want to start using it in some videos I've recorded. There's a problem with that though, just recently the trial has disappeared of the face of the internet because of CS5 on Adobe's website. Adobe used to have the trial download link on there website but now I only can choose to get a notification for when the CS5 trials going to be released... So does anyone know where I can get a download link to Adobe After Effects CS4 trial? I've been looking all day and Ic an't find a download link anywhere... :(.

So if you know where I can download the trial PLEEEEASE tell me! Thanks a lot!

Oh also if you already have Adobe After Effects downloaded and you wanted to be a superstar, you could definitely upload it to mediafire or something and then post the link here ;). Only if you're willing to though~

Okay, wel thanks but this isn't working at all for me.

This is what it tells me to do EXACTLY:
I sign in to my adobe account, I click on that link, then I copy/paste the version I Want into the address bar (Adobe After Effects CS4 English MAC (http://trials.adobe.com/Applications/AfterEffects/CS4/Mac/ADBEAFETCS4_LS7.dmg)), then nothing happens.

This is what I've tried as well:
I also got an email from adobe with Adobe acrobat's trial link included so I clicked that and Adobe Akamai Download Manager popped up and started downloading Adobe Acrobat, I then copy/pasted Adobe After Effects CS4 English MAC's link into the address bar again hit enter, and absolutely nothing happens it opens up a blank page and doesn't do a thing.

So I'm not sure what to do...
 
This is what I did.

I signed into my Adobe account, clicked on the presented link to download Adobe Acrobat, chose one version to download, a new Akamai window opened, the download asked me where to save the file, I chose one, then the download started and I pressed the pause button.
I also opened the FTP link and logged in as guest, but that will probably have nothing to do with it.
After all that I copied the AE link, pasted it into an empty tab and the download started and 1.31GB are currently downloading in my browser's Download window.

Okay, when you clicked on the link for Adobe Acrobat did you click ont he link that was provided or did you have to be emailed a link to download AA? Because I had to go to my email to download AA. I'll try again now.

So I did everything EXACTLY how you did it, but when I open a new tab and paste the AE CS4 link into the address bar and hit enter it loads for like a mila second then the web address disappears, I check my downloads folder nothings there...

The only thing that's different from what you've done is that for some reason Adobe thinks I'm on a Windows computer and only gives me the option to download Adobe Acrobat .exe... What browser are you using? I'll try this with Google Chrome & Firefox in a moment too.

I've tried everything that I can think of, and when I try to download the actual AE file it just sits there in chrom/firefox loading & loading & loading. I left it there for like 40 minutes and nothing :/.
Thanks for trying though.
If anyone else has any other methods to downloading Adobe After Effects CS4 trial PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know, thanks!

I used Safari 4.0.5, maybe give that a try?

Are you sure you clicked the link? I tried again and again, and then i realized i didn't click the link :) And then it worked! Try working on a different internet connnection if possible. BTW thanks for posting this post up, I FINALLYafter like 3 days of searching can download after effects. If possible i try to send you the file ITs still donwloading now......

Yay! It's working now :))). I downloaded a downlaod manager app and it decided to work now! Thanks everyone~
 
You just bumped a thread that's over a half a year old.

Cs5 has been out for quite some time :|

oh damn, no intention to spam or bump, sorry if that is causing you unrest polkunus, take my word for it the reason for this is something totally else.

here we go. will try to make it short, hehe.

since I had all the links up the first time somewhere round may last year my stats were constantly telling me that heaps of people from here came to get those trials. and that was all good for the people. I don't need hits nor do I have ads on my blog in fact I like to help where I can without financial motivation behind it.

since later on things got very ugly at the adobe forums with my posts being deleted despite a lot of people looking for cs4 and cs3 and me getting quite unhappy about how things are run over there I pulled the plug and turned to other things. this not only helped me calm down about the whole affair but also put users looking for this links to a dead end leaving them with click tracking and cookie stuffing aka affiliate marketing alternatives. not really nice I thought but at that time I simply did not care anymore.

so then some month later I killed all the links but my stats simply would not decrease all this time, meaning that people were still looking for these links despite them not being there anymore. and this went like this for half a year or so.

since a lot of time has passed, I found my middle and peace and the stats were still flying high from here I thought it would finally be a good idea to put them up again and help the people. do you think that was a bad move?

yes of course cs5 has been out for quite some time, but mind you not everyone is using cs5 or even cs4, there is still heaps of people looking for cs3. also if you check the adobe forums you will also still find heaps of people having trouble with the infamous akamai download manager, not to mention people that have licences to older products but have a scratched install disc or lost their install discs for example. there is NO place on adobe.com to get those older version, instead they make you get upgrades or cs5, forgetting about that not everyone has the latest gear to also run those programs, not to mention the price of all that.

so perhaps now you understand the motivation behind my move to update this thread. again I am not hunting for clicks nor is my motivation financial. if this does not go down well with macrumours please feel free to get a mod or admin to delete this whole thread, personally I really don't mind, but I think when you take into consideration what I just said you will find it makes sense.

^that is what i figured you were doing and it makes a lot of sense to me.
thanks for taking the time to explain it for people that might not understand.
i also think that it is a great service for people, keep up the good work!:D
