$910 for 2017 13" non-touch MPB 256gb (open box) good deal?

BB has their 2017 MBPs on sale today. I ordered an open-box excellent machine for $910. If it's a dud or beat up, I'll return it, but most open-box I had ordered in the past are good.

Anyway, it's the upgraded 256gb model of the 13" 2017 w/o touch bar. Is that a good price? Thinking of replacing my 2017 12" 256gb MB with this slightly larger and faster Pro. Thanks!

Why didn't you just get a brand new one for $999? No way I would have paid BB $910 for an open box MBP when for $80 more, I could have a brand spanking new one.

Well, I got really lucky with an even better deal! I did order that silver one (which I will now be retuning) but then saw there was a space gray open box at my local BB for $849. Drove there and saw it in their cage and was waiting for like 4 min until an employee came by. Unfortunately they came buy with another dude who also wanted it. I was like dammit! I couldn’t have left my house 2 min earlier?

The manager saw what happened and was super super nice and honored a NEW one of the same 256gb space gray model for the $849! Worked out even better than I had hoped! Just transferred TM backup to it from my 12”. Very happy!
