That seems abnormal, unless your cycle count is extremely high. My MBA (obtained mid-2010) is at 87% with 426 cycles. I'd suggest keeping an eye on it.
If you've got a recent MBA, according to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1519 you should get 1000 cycles out of it. Keep an eye on it, it's possible you have a defective battery. Applecare does have a magic formula they use to determine if they'll cover it, but if you loose a significant amount of capacity in less than a hundred cycles I'd almost guarantee they'd cover it.
My old MBP went down to around 91% after about a month, 84% after a year, Apple wouldn't do anything since it's still above 80% but it never went below 80%, it would fluctuate all over.

so if it goes below 80% in a year, then i can get apple to do something about it?
i do have like 50 load cycles and i rarely let the battery go to under 50% though.. it is almost always plugged in. i definitely have not let it come close to dying 50 times. i haven't even had the computer for 50 days!
Probably normal. I was at 95% yesterday, today I'm at 96%. 5 cycles not even 2 weeks old. My first MBA (had a wobble issue) behaved the exact same way.
