My battery states both from coconut battery and About this Mac it is at 94% after only 11 loadcycles after I just callibrated it for the month. I also must add that when i drained the battery health, I only got about 1 hour and 45 minutes of battery life.

Should I call Apple?

f they do find something wrong with it, will they make me bring my whole MBP in or just the battery?

I mean that acceptable battery health... of course you can always take it to them to check it out; if you do, bring your whole computer.

my old educational school one (15" 2007 MBP) seemed to fluctuate a lot. Mine went from 99% to 96% to 98% down to 92% after 3 months, and on the 4th month is was back up to 98%, so I have no idea :p

My laptop is 4 months old with 43 load-cycles and is at 93% which seems to have gone down really fast.

Also, since updating to 10.5.3 I seem to be getting around 50-60% of the battery life that I was getting at 10.5.2 (doing the same things with the same brightness settings, etc.)

Mine was down to 95% after ~15 cycles. Then it settled, and has been going back and forth between 94 and 95% since (@ 70 cycles, bought 3 mos ago). I've calibrated it 3 times, most recently a couple weeks back.

My MBP is a year old the first week of July. It has 11 battery cycles and shows 98%. My battery lasted just over three hours when I last used it two weeks ago.

I hear you all loud and clear. My battery got replaced about a month or two ago because I got about 50% Health after only 120 Cycles. As I was still in the 1-year warranty period I was lucky.

The new one seemed to work fine, but yesterday it sat at 94% after only 14 cycles, and I didn't like the thought of it. Figuring it could only help, I decided to re-calibrate, and I drained my MBP.

Today I power it back on, and I'm at 90% with 15 cycles. WTH?!
Really, there /has/ to be something else wrong. Perhaps I should go and reset the PMU. What do you guys think?
Right now my 1-year warranty is over, and I don't care about AppleCare, so I really hope this battery settles fast and doesn't lose a lot of capacity anymore :-(

If you're still within your warranty period I believe you can get a replacement.

really? They have to replace the superdrive, the LCD, the logic board (probably) and now maybe the battery, maybe they'll just give me a new computer. :)
