9400 vs 9600?

Benchmarks say 9600 has about twice as much muscle as the 9400 right? So what kind of improvement are we talking about in real life. Especially gaming?

About twice as much frames per second in GPU intensive games like FPS? What about in SRPGs? Similar as well?

The 9600M GT is 2 to 3 times more powerful than the 9400M G.

Yea you will deffinitely see an improvment. It may not be a full 3 times FPS, but you will be able to kick the resolutions and effects up much easier and with a much lesser punishment on performance. See problem with 9400m is while its a step up from the Intel GMA's, it's still integrated as far as I am concerned, its still below a dedicated 64mb 8400m which is pretty bad. The 9600 however, is a decent lower mid-range card.
