9400M vs 9600M running Aperture

Is there a real noticeable difference between running 9400 and 9600 when working on Aperture?

I'm working right now on a 2.4ghz Macbook Pro with 8600M GT

Would I really need 9600? or would I be fine with 9400?

I know there's a difference but how much difference is there?

Someone can correct me with the exact number but I read that the performance gain from the 8600M to 9600M is only like 10-15%.
