iPod touch will ipod touch 4g look like iphone 4?

So i know the attention lately has been on ipad and iphone 4 but iv'e been thinking about the ipod touch.
Iv'e been hoping that the touch looks like the iphone 4 and has a gyroscope and retina display for better gaming and graphics. A camera i don't need but it would be pretty handy for a quick snapshot.
But if it doesn't atleast have a retina display or a new look i think it just wouldn't be worth it. What's your opinion?

These might be necessary for your needs, but not for my needs. For me, a camera is absolutely essential - scanning barcodes, object recognition, video chat, photos, video, etc.

We all have different needs. You want a gaming device and I want a travel device. Why not just toss all of it in? It's not that expensive for Apple to do so.

What does a gyroscope do?

I dont know if i want it to look like the iphone 4 or not. I guess we'll all see about a month before the release date, most likely September, therefore August.

Well we had the same design since 2008 so I'm pretty sure we are due for a fresh new design. I'm thinking more like the iPad. Chrome backing will be done away with. Not sure about it mocking the iPhone 4 design. Maybe but no black backing, or may be it will but come in a series of colors.

Hopefully we get multiple colors-that would be nice.
