Just a friendly FYI. I was told they were free on the phone, but they charged me at the store during my upgrade swap issue.

I am hoping to have them credit my account.

Hmm I called and upgrade swapped over the phone for $0.00 I would get my money back.

Thats RIDICULOUS. AT&T is always trying to make an extra buck!

And you should have called, because it's free over the phone.

How did you do it over the phone? It seems most people are having issues. Is there a certain # you called and what information did you need handy to complete the swap without affecting the other line u are swapping with

The upgrade process took a dump and I got a screen that said that something was wrong with the sim card.

This is a swap, so iTunes was showing an old phone number.

I just called ATT now, and they gave me a $20 credit. So it worked out ok.

She also said that charging for the micro-sim was customary, but with the new phones utilizing it, that they are no longer charging.

If you got charged, CALL ATT!
