I think the iPhone 4's screen has totally ruined my eyes for anything else. My 1900x1200 24" monitor that before I thought was pretty good now has blurry text and aliasing everywhere (relatively speaking), similar to how my 3GS' screen now looks downright ugly compared to the Retina Display.

Anyone else experiencing this after spending time with their iPhone 4? Anything we can do except wait and hope for resolution independence and higher ppi screens to hopefully come out?

Yup, Ive noticed this. Even my 17" hires macbook pro (1920x1200) screen doesnt look as good as it did a week ago.

Not sure what type of monitor's/tv's you all are using, but um no.

Even reality disappoints now.

Hehe yeah that is a funny one.

I don't think too much about it, so the screen res of my laptop and desktop don't bother me at all. However, I don't have an iPhone 4 (wife does) but I'm waiting for the white one. Once I do get the white one and use it on a daily basis, things might change...

Yes, i've noticed nothing looks nearly as good. The retina display just looks so clean its unreal.

I think if you don't find it stunning, and a huge leap over laptop and desktop displays, you seriously might not have the sharpest up close vision. Or it could be that I just have really great vision.

I'm sure you could find someone to manufacture a 24" retina display for you for under $10K. What's stopping you?

yup. for some reason the iphone screen didn't really wow me when i got it, but now after getting used to it everything else looks like crap.

Maybe so... at home I noticed I've spent a lot of time on my iPhone 4 rather than my computer. When at home, I usually have put down my previous iPhone 3 in favor of a notebook computer.

I've been getting really spoiled by good screens lately. First the new iMacs, then the iPad, then I got a fancy new samsung led tv. The iPhone 4 blows them all away but I still find them tolerable. My old 3GS and many other screens, however, just look really bad now. The iPad looks kinda bad if I use it right after using the iPhone 4. But the new iMac and my tv still look gorgeous.

Ever since I got my iPhone 4, all other screens have looked like crap. I mean, I can actually SEE THE PIXELS on my other screens. This simply will not do. :D

Looking forward to retina displays to be the industry norm.
