I am currently using an Intel X25 G2 180 GB for my system disk, dual partition for os x and windows. Only problem now is that I am running out of space and would like to restore the sdd to one partition just for OS X and add an 3.5" HDD for windows. Bay 1 is the SDD and I have 3x1TB in a RAID 0 in Bay 2,3,4. I am looking for a mounting kit so I can move the 1TB in bay 4 to the extra superdrive section and then connect that through the ODD. I will put a 320 GB in bay 2 and my raid should be fine with bay 3, 4 and the odd sata. Can anyone recommend a reasonable HDD 3.5" to superdrive mounting kit for the mac pro?
Can I use a regular 3.5" to 5.25" converter to mount the hdd? I tried using a regular 2.5" to 3.5" for the sdd but it would not line up with the sled for the bays, thats why I am asking about a regular 3.5" to 5.25".
Thanks!
