It's official-

The biggest complaint about the new iPhone 4 on Apple's own discussion/support board may surprise people here.

Despite mass hysteria, the biggest complaint by users is NOT the alleged antenna/signal issue. Three times as many people are complaining about the proximity sensor not working correctly. Can we harness the power of this forum and focus our energies on trying to get Apple to fix the sensor issue?

Complain about it. Call Apple. Post about it. Maybe with enough noise, Apple will fix the real problem with this phone and not work on the antenna issue which doesn't seem to be users' biggest complaint.

Is there a way to report bugs online to apple re: iPhone?
Maybe if enough do this we can get a fix.

Whoa, that's crazy.

I had no idea so many phones have the proximity sensor issue.

Well, the signal is more important because if you can't make a call or drop calls the proximity sensor issue doesnt matter.

This is one of several reasons my wife and I cancelled our pre-ordered phones today. I'm waiting to see if Apple fixes all these problems.

Prox sensor seems to be faulty on my iP4. Hoping they can just adjust the sensitivity on update.

I started a thread on this issue also. I haven't had any other issues with my phone except for this one. To me this is the most annoying thing that can happen during a conversation, aside from having dropped calls.

My wife and I, as well as a friend of mine all have this problem extensively. I have no problem with signal.
